As we continue to mourn the horrific attack in Orlando, it’s more important than ever that we stand strong and united. The recent tragedy shocked our nation, especially so close to the one-year anniversary of marriage equality. But over the weekend at the Portland Pride Festival, thousands of us came together, celebrated love, and supported our LGBT friends, family, and neighbors.

In the face of hatred and violence, let’s continue to stand united in the fight for full equality for all Oregonians and Americans, and let’s put an end to the gun violence that plagues our nation.
