Innovation & Opportunity Luncheon

Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici’s
First Annual Innovation & Opportunity Luncheon
Recognizing exceptional leadership in Northwest Oregon

Thursday, October 27th, 2016
11:30am - 1:00pm

Elysian Ballroom
918 SW Yamhill St. 5th Floor
Portland, Oregon

Over the last four and half years, I’ve focused on creating opportunity for Oregonians and Oregon families by strengthening education, building our economy, supporting innovation, and making equality a reality for everyone. As I’ve traveled around NW Oregon, I’ve had the privilege to meet a number of talented individuals and business leaders who share these priorities and are working hard to make Oregon a better place to live, work, play, and thrive.

As this election season comes to a close, I hope you’ll help me celebrate the good work happening all around us. Please join me for my first annual Innovation & Opportunity Luncheon on Thursday, October 27th from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Elysian Ballroom in downtown Portland.

I’m excited to be recognizing:

Yellow Scope ~ with the Educational Leadership Award

Scientists and moms, Marcie Colledge PhD and Kelly McCollum MPH founded Yellow Scope in 2014 to provide girls with a different kind of science kit: one that’s rigorous, creative, and builds their confidence in science. Each Yellow Scope kit is lovingly assembled by hand in Portland, Oregon.

RevMedx, Inc. ~ with the 21st Century Innovation Award

RevMedx is dedicated to saving lives by creating groundbreaking medical products designed to revolutionize the treatment of traumatic bleeding for combat medics and civilian first responders.

Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. ~ with the Building Opportunity Award

OTI was founded on the principle that women deserve and can attain economic self-sufficiency through careers in building, mechanical, electrical, and utility trades. Today they have nearly 400 members and promote success for women in the trades through education, leadership, and mentorship.

This will be my last event of the 2016 election cycle and it promises to be a bright, positive way to spend some time during what has been an intense election season. I hope you can be there with us.

Please RSVP today!
