Cut Medicare? No way.
On the campaign trail, Donald Trump promised not to cut Medicare or Medicaid, but his budget director doesn't seem to agree.
Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney has said we should make “fundamental changes” to the life-saving programs. He even wants to increase the retirement age and take away Medicare benefits from many of our nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
Everyone gets sick, and seniors and people with disabilities rely on these benefits to survive.
I’ll be doing everything in my power to protect our health care from Donald Trump and his allies in Congress. I'll fight to protect Medicare, Medicaid, and other life-saving programs, but I can’t do it without your help.
