This time they're going after Oregon workers.

by Suzanne Bonamici

While all eyes have been on Trump’s Cabinet appointments, Republicans are recklessly rolling back consumer protections put in place by the Obama Administration.

This time, they’re going after workers saving for retirement.

Oregon has been paving the way for people to retire with dignity, even if they don’t have access to a retirement savings plan through an employer. Through OregonSaves, Oregon is creating a high-quality, state-offered retirement savings plan available to all workers.

But Republicans in the House have reversed rules that made it easier for states, like Oregon, to set up state-administered retirement savings plans. They’re siding with big financial institutions on Wall Street, rather than with working families.

It’s unacceptable and I’m fighting back.

Nearly half of private-sector employees don’t have a retirement plan through their employer. Why are Republicans making it harder? We should be making it easier for people to retire.

I'm fighting to stop these attacks on our workers. Are you with me?

Please donate today and let’s fight back against attacks on our working families!

Thank you for standing with me.
