Where will you be Tuesday evening?
This is it. On Tuesday at 8pm, the 2014 election will be over.
Thank you for standing with me throughout the last two years as I’ve served my first full term in Congress. I am hopeful that the people of NW Oregon will again put their confidence in me to represent them; it is an awesome responsibility and I am ready to continue the work I’ve started.
But first, we have election night!
Will you please join me for the festivities?
Congressman Blumenauer and I are sharing a hospitality suite at the Portland Hilton, where many of the local candidates will be gathering. We’ll open the suite at 7:30pm. There will be some light snacks, a cash bar, and we will be tracking the federal races for the US House and US Senate.
It would be wonderful to have you by my side on Tuesday as the results come in.

In addition to our celebration, the Democratic Party of Oregon will be having a big party downstairs. There will also be hospitality suites hosted by Governor Kitzhaber, Senator Merkley, the Oregon House & Senate Democrats, and more.
