A threat to our planet

Climate change is a serious threat to our country and our planet, and addressing it should be at the very top of our policy agenda. But did you notice that it was barely mentioned in last night’s Republican debate?

As a member of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, I have seen some of our nation’s brightest scientists attacked for speaking the truth. Rather than criticizing scientists for doing their jobs, we should be listening to them and addressing the problem at the source: carbon pollution.
