On to November!

With vote by mail, online voter registration, and now the new Motor Voter law, Oregon has worked hard to expand access to voting so everyone can participate in the democratic process. And over the course of the last few weeks, more than 1 million Oregonians voted in the election, a number that’s been seen only once before in the history of our state!

I'm very honored to have earned the support of Oregon Democrats. And I am grateful for all of your support.

Now that the Primary is behind us, it's time to get ready for the next phase of the election.

Donald Trump is likely to lead the Republican ticket this year. He's a man who cares more about himself than working families, who takes pride in belittling others, and has a long history of degrading women, people of color, and people with disabilities.

A Trump presidency will be disastrous for our country and our world.

That's why, from now until November, I'll be focused on:

Continuing to represent the people of NW Oregon;
Running a strong reelection campaign so I can continue to defend Oregon’s progressive, pro-choice, pro-equality values in Congress; and
Working tirelessly to defeat Donald Trump.
We need to join together to continue making progress for the country. Together let's raise our collective voices against bigotry and hate – our future depends on it.
