You can't make this up.
The House Science Committee is holding a hearing titled "Making EPA Great Again."
Seriously? Let's be clear: This hearing will be an attack on the Environmental Protection Agency and an attack on science. And if Trump’s nomination of Scott Pruitt to head the EPA goes through, we’re in even bigger trouble.
Pruitt doesn’t believe in laws that keep our air and water clean, and he does the bidding of polluters instead of fighting climate change. His focus would be to make the EPA great again - for big oil.
He is not the man for the job. We need to protect science – and fight climate change to protect our planet for future generations.
