Access to birth control is a private decision and one that has significance for the economic security of women and families. That’s why insurance coverage for contraception is important; affordability means access.
Unfortunately, the Trump Administration wants to allow employers to opt out of providing coverage, which will limit access to birth control for women across the country. That’s not something employers should be doing.

Birth control allows women to decide if and when they want to start a family. It also can help ease the pain of many medical conditions like endometriosis and even migraines.
Hundreds of thousands of women could lose access to affordable birth control coverage they depend on – unless we stand up and stop this.
