Asbestos is still legal?

While Donald Trump distracts the nation with outrageous tweets and his divisive agenda, I'm not taking my attention away from all of the issues that matter to Americans. Protecting the health and safety of our communities cannot get lost in the chaos.

Each year, thousands of Americans die from asbestos-related diseases. The United States should have already joined the more than 50 countries that have banned asbestos, but Republicans and the EPA are dragging their feet.

With lives at risk, I'm leading the effort to protect public health and safety and finally ban asbestos.

It's past time to protect the health of families in Oregon and across the country from carcinogenic products.

Meet Suzanne
