Focused on November
Last night was Oregon's primary election, and I am honored to have earned the support of NW Oregonians. Now I'm focused on November.
More than six years ago, I decided to run for Congress because I wanted to build a better future for Oregonians. I've made progress over the past six years, but there is still work to do.
Too many Oregon families are still struggling to make ends meet. They want their elected officials to create opportunities through better jobs and education. They are concerned about housing costs, and whether they can save for retirement and for their kids to go to college. As their representative, I take this responsibility very seriously—my constituents are counting on me to be their voice in DC.
With the primary behind us and less than six months until November, it's time to focus on the next phase of the election. Democrats have the chance to serve in the majority in the House and put a check on the Trump administration, but only if we work hard and keep our focus on creating a better future for all Americans.
Your support means a lot to me during these challenging times. With you by my side, I'll keep working hard, fighting for Oregonians, and standing up for our values.
Thank you for standing with me,
Suzanne
