Separating family members at the border

I'm a mom, and I cannot erase from my mind the horrific images of babies and children at the border being forcibly separated from their families.

Parents escaping violence or unspeakable hardship for a chance to give their children a better life are now enduring the horror of losing the very children they are trying to protect.

The Trump administration chose to impose these cruel measures. I am outraged. This has to change.

They chose to do this.

Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions can reverse this coldhearted policy right now. Today.

I call on my friends, neighbors, and fellow members of Congress to speak out and stand up to this administration. Together, we can make the United States a country that stands for mercy, humanity, and opportunity.
