ACTION REQUIRED: sign your name to protect the Clean Power Act

The scientific community overwhelmingly agrees that global warming is a threat to our health, the economy, national security, and our planet. As the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) emphasized in its recent report, we must take immediate steps to prevent catastrophic damage.

The Obama-era Clean Power Plan was designed to be an important part of the solution. The Clean Power Plan, if fully implemented, will reduce carbon emission by nearly 20 percent by 2030.

But now, despite the alarming IPCC report, Trump and the EPA are threatening to replace the Clean Power Plan with a new rule that would weaken protections for public health and our planet.

Sign the petition telling Trump and the EPA to keep the Clean Power Act. The public comment period ends October 31.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump and his allies at the EPA are putting the profits of the fossil fuel industry over your health and safety. Enough is enough.
