What a night
It's truly an honor to have earned another term representing NW Oregon in Congress, and I couldn't have done it without your support.
As I travel around NW Oregon and talk with constituents, I am continually in awe of the energy and determination I've seen at town hall meetings and in casual conversations. It's a challenging time in our country, and the increase in civic engagement has been reassuring. I know that if we stay engaged, our voices can be a major force for change in D.C.
Serving in the majority party is a responsibility I will take very seriously. We have a lot of work to do. The Trump administration must be held accountable for the actions of the executive branch and the House must provide oversight. At the same time, we will be fighting for progress on issues that affect Americans every day - affordable health care for all, quality public education, investing in infrastructure, protecting the environment, and campaign finance reform.
I'm ready for the work. I will be fighting every day for a better future for our families, our state, our country, and our planet. Thank you for standing with me.
With gratitude,
