With the impeachment proceedings, Trump's reckless behavior in the Middle East, and his disingenuous, deceitful State of the Union address – it's easy to lose sight of hope.
This week we learned just how far some Republicans will stray from their Constitutional responsibilities to provide checks and balances when they voted to keep Trump in office. We cannot allow their lack of ethics and integrity to suppress our efforts. Your commitment to democracy, to Oregon, and to our values is much more powerful than their greed.
We are living in challenging times. But a President who frequently attacks immigrants, people of color, and those who live in poverty are no match for our movement. We must stand up for all members of our community every day – especially as we work toward Election Day.
