Checking those boxes?

Tomorrow is Oregon's primary.

It's unusual to be campaigning during a pandemic — but the coronavirus pandemic has upended just about everything in our lives. It's put a halt to much of our economy and taken far too many lives. And it has highlighted inequities that too many people in our community were already experiencing – especially in access to health care, child care, and technology. Congress acted quickly to bring relief to many small businesses and individuals, but there is still significant need.

Today I'm asking you to check the box on your ballot for me. I want to keep fighting for high quality public education for every student, policies that support working families, clean energy jobs, humane and comprehensive immigration reform, and important programs like Medicare, Social Security, and nutrition assistance.

And importantly, I'll continue fighting President Trump's dangerous and hateful policies right up to the time we have a new administration.

It's too late to mail your Oregon primary election ballot, but there's still a quick, convenient, and most importantly — safe — way to make your voice heard. Check here for a drop box. Once you fill out your ballot, you can put it in an official dropbox. Important — it must be received by 8 pm, Tuesday, May 19.

And this time, it's more important than ever to make your voice heard. There's so much at stake, and I'd be honored to have your support again this year.

Thank you for standing with me,

Suzanne
