This is a historic candidacy

The 2020 Presidential race is the fight of our lives. We have an opportunity to turn things around and create a brighter future for our kids and grandkids, to protect the environment and act on climate, and to create a more fair and just world.

I'm committed to doing all I can to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and then to work with these bold and compassionate leaders on policies that will build the better future we want and need.

Donald Trump has utterly failed to manage the coronavirus pandemic, resulting in a loss of thousands of lives and a collapse of the economy. He promotes racist, xenophobic, sexist, and anti-Semitic conspiracies, and he's damaged our standing in the world. He's trying to repeal landmark health and environmental protections that keep us safe. Acting like a dictator, he is now trying to undermine our election.

We must all work together to make Joe Biden's victory decisive. Democracy is not a spectator sport, and I hope you'll join me in doing all you can to help get Joe Biden in the White House.

Like many of you, I am energized with Kamala Harris on the ticket. The daughter of immigrants, she knows the meaning and significance of the American dream. She's a principled fighter and a natural leader. In the Senate, she's been leading the way to raise wages for working families, support public education, and make health care a right for everyone. When Kamala speaks, she conveys the passion and energy she brings to public service and she sends a message to young girls everywhere that they too can lead, no matter their gender or the color of their skin. As a woman in Congress, I know that diverse representation makes a meaningful difference.

There is much at stake, and we know we need a change this November. There are only 75 days left until Election Day. I hope you'll join me in supporting this historic candidacy. Together, we can win – for our families, our communities, and our country.

Thank you for standing with me,

Suzanne
