Here's how you can help with the wildfires:

As first responders risk their lives to fight the wildfires around Oregon, we must stay calm, have an evacuation plan, and listen to experts. I'm doing everything I can to make sure you have the resources and up-to-date information you need during this evolving crisis.

The state of Oregon has put together a comprehensive Wildfire Resources Guide to help keep you and your family safe. You'll find information for each county including road conditions, evacuation routes, lodging information, and more.

As the fires and smoke spread, more Oregonians are in need of food, water, shelter, and immediate assistance.

That's why I'm asking you to stand with families in need by giving what you can to relief organizations that are working on the ground to provide food, shelter, and services, or to the Red Cross.

My team and I are working hard to support first responders and our friends and neighbors in this very difficult time. We'll continue to share more resources as they become available.

My thoughts are with you, our first responders, and the thousands of Oregonians who have evacuated and are worried about their homes and loved ones. Please stay safe, heed the warnings of local officials, and take care of each other.
