Important voting info for Oregon
I have a few updates for you before Election Day, which is just 3 weeks away.
TODAY, October 13th is the last day to register to vote or update your address if you've moved. You can register to vote or change your address online until 11:59 pm tonight.
TOMORROW, October 14, is the first day the Oregon Secretary of State will begin mailing our ballots. Be sure to check your mail regularly.
I'll send updates soon with information about dropbox locations. In the meantime, be sure to check your voter registration for accuracy and urge your friends and family to do the same before midnight TONIGHT.
You can help us with our get-out-the-vote efforts by chipping in ${{ask}} today. Did you know that the State of Oregon gives most taxpayers a credit of $50 when they donate $50 or more to Oregon political campaigns?
The tax credit for political contributions is "use it or lose it" so you have to use it this calendar year. By contributing $50 to a political campaign, you can make Oregon a better place – and it won't cost you a dime!
