This primary is important

Let me tell you about my friend Andrea Salinas. She's a fantastic candidate running for Congress in Oregon's new Sixth District.

As the daughter of an immigrant farm laborer, she knows what it's like for families to struggle to make ends meet. That's why she's worked hard to improve the lives of all Oregonians.

She recently championed the Farmworker's Overtime Bill in the Oregon Legislature, ending decades of farmworker exploitation. She has been a fierce advocate in the fight to decarbonize Oregon. And a critical leader in passing the most comprehensive abortion rights legislation in the country.

That's the kind of person I want in Congress.

Here's the problem. Andrea's in a crowded primary.

Republicans think they have a real shot at winning in the new Sixth. And if Democrats don't put forward a strong candidate, they are right.

Will you join me in standing with Andrea by donating $14 to her campaign today before the critical FEC fundraising deadline, March 31?

Republicans need only five seats to take back the House. If they win, progressive legislation will come to a standstill. Reproductive rights, the climate crisis, health care, income inequality, and voting rights will suffer. Our country cannot afford to reverse course on issues that matter to all of us.

It's critical that Democrats win the new Oregon Sixth.

Andrea needs people like you to fuel her grassroots campaign so she can win in May – and then beat the GOP nominee in November. Will you donate today before midnight tomorrow?

Please stand with me and with Andrea,

Suzanne
