Joining forces with Elizabeth Warren to protect abortion access

Reproductive rights are under attack. At this critical time, it's important that people who are seeking abortion care be able to find a provider they can trust.

But so-called "crisis pregnancy centers" or "pregnancy resource centers" spread misinformation and deceive people about their health care choices.These centers often share incorrect information about abortion. They tend to lure people in and then mislead them about what services are available.

Make no mistake: crisis pregnancy centers spread disinformation to further their own political goals.

That's why I'm joining forces with Senator Elizabeth Warren to stop this misinformation from causing harm. Along with Senator Menendez and Rep. Maloney, we recently reintroduced the Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act to prohibit deceptive advertising by pregnancy resource centers.

Now that the Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade, it's critical that we crack down on the abuse of these crisis pregnancy centers.

No more lies. No more deceptive advertising.

This is a difficult time for our nation. But I won't stop fighting in Congress to pass federal protections for reproductive health care – including abortion care.

This is not a time to be complacent. We must use every tool at our disposal to fight back.
