A nationwide ban on abortion

I'm furious.

Reproductive rights are on the line as the extremist Republicans try to gain political power.

It's wrong, and it's dangerous.

Senator Lindsey Graham and his extremist colleagues just introduced legislation to ban abortion care nationwide after 15 weeks.

Nationwide.

Here's the truth: If this bill becomes law, millions of women will no longer have the freedom to decide when or whether to bear a child. More women will die. And many more women and children will live in poverty.

But Lindsey Graham and the extremist Republican party don't seem to care — as long as they get to be in power.

Here's the good news. We can and will fight back.

I will join my pro-choice colleagues to vote against this nationwide ban bill and anything like it. And we will keep fighting until we stop politicians from making intensely personal health care decisions for Oregonians and Americans.

The vast majority of Americans support abortion access. If we come together, work hard, and vote, we will win this election, and we will win this fight.

With the midterm elections just weeks away, more and more women are registering to vote – many for the first time.

Abortion access is on the ballot this year. Extremist Republicans will pass a national abortion ban if they gain the majority.

Will you support the three amazing pro-choice women, Val, Jamie, and Andrea, running for Congress in Oregon?

These seats are competitive, and every vote will matter.

Thank you for standing with me – and with Val, Jamie, and Andrea.
