Democrats stand with the American people
It was an honor to attend the State of the Union address this week.
President Biden reminded us of all we have accomplished by working together and how we can move forward into the future.
We have invested in infrastructure, lowered costs for seniors, passed gun violence prevention legislation, bolstered domestic manufacturing, and provided clean energy incentives for businesses and individuals. I'm proud to have played a part in passing this important legislation.
Of course, there is more to do. I am hopeful that we can find common ground on policies that help Oregonians and Americans. We must improve access to child care, support people who need mental health care and abortion care, expand education and job training opportunities, and fight the opioid epidemic.
The bottom line is Democrats stand with the American people.
You can count on me to stay focused on what matters – improving the lives of Oregonians.
