When or whether.
One year ago today, the Supreme Court overturned *Roe v. Wade* and began allowing states to deny Americans abortion care.
Republican-led states wasted no time ripping abortion rights from millions with increasingly restrictive laws.
In the last year, 15 states have banned or severely limited abortion rights, with at least seven others working toward more bans and restrictions. This alarming trend persists even though the majority of Americans support the right to choose when or whether to have a family.
In a Kansas special election, voters showed up to keep abortion legal, surprising Republican leaders and political commentators.
Now Republicans in other states, like Ohio, are working to keep abortion rights off the ballot. They know the people are against them on this crucial issue.
I will never stop fighting for abortion access. But I need your help.
This fight will take all of us coming together, building up our movement, advocating to lawmakers, and, most importantly, voting.
We need strong pro-choice majorities – and it's up to us to elect them. Will you join the fight?
Thank you for standing with me,
Suzanne
