Climate Action Now
Climate change is a national emergency, and we must take action.
I proudly voted for the Inflation Reduction Act, our most ambitious climate bill yet. As a result, more electric vehicles, home efficiency upgrades, and renewable energy sources like wind and solar are available and in use by people across the country – but there is still work to do. For four years, I served on the Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, where we wrote a comprehensive, science-based Climate Action Plan to address climate change.
Historically, Congress passed laws to protect the environment with overwhelming bipartisan support. Under President Biden, we’re working hard to build that same kind of enthusiasm to work together and transform the U.S. into a clean energy economy to reduce carbon emissions and preserve clean air and water.
In Congress, I’m advocating for strong measures that address the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change. This includes supporting legislation that encourages innovation, invests in sustainable infrastructure, and fosters international collaboration. By working together and transcending party lines, we recognize our shared responsibility for the environment and forge a path toward a more resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.
Thanks for standing with me,
Suzanne
