Why we’re in this fight together

Do you have a minute to talk about Congresswoman Andrea Salinas? I want to explain why we're in this fight together, and why your grassroots support today is so critical.

I've known Andrea for years, and she has proven herself to be a principled leader who will always stand up for what's right. As the first Democratic Latina from Oregon elected to Congress, Andrea's making history. She's a champion for working families, reproductive rights, and the environment.

Every day in Congress, Andrea and I stand up to Republicans attempting to use their majority to take away our reproductive rights, undermine democracy, and make sure that the next generation of Americans has fewer fundamental freedoms.

Andrea had a tough race last election, and she is already a top target for Republicans who want to hold on to their slim majority. I know I've said it before, but the stakes of this election could not possibly be any higher.

In an election as competitive and expensive as Andrea's, she can't do it alone.

It's the support of this grassroots team – month after month – that provides the resources we need to flip the House next November.
