We all do better when we all do better
The primary election is in two weeks, so I wanted to reach out and thank you for your support. We've been through some extremely challenging times over the past twelve years, but we've also accomplished a lot.
It's important to emphasize how much is at stake in this election. Truly, it is one of the most important elections of our lifetime. Democracy, the climate, reproductive freedom, and much more, are all on the ballot.
I'm running for re-election to create a better future for the people I'm honored to represent and for generations to come. We must remember that we all do better when we all do better. In my work, I strive for an economy that works for everyone – not just those at the top. Too many people are still struggling – and rightfully, expect their elected leaders to support policies that improve their lives.
Although we are facing significant challenges and dangerous threats to democracy, we also have an opportunity to make progress. We can vote to protect reproductive freedom, move to a clean energy economy, and strengthen voting rights and our fundamental right to vote.
I hope I can count on your vote on May 21st. Thank you for putting your trust in me. We will keep working together toward a better future for all.
Thank you for standing with me,
Suzanne
