The team is ready!

It's only been about two weeks since Kamala Harris announced her intent to earn the Democratic nomination. Since then, she has quickly set up an incredible campaign. She's selling out rallies, breaking the Internet, and climbing in the polls. And she handily won the nomination to be our next President of the United States.

Today, Kamala made her most consequential announcement yet – her choice for Vice President, Governor Tim Walz.

I served with Tim in Congress and I can tell you, he's the real deal. As the Governor of Minnesota, a teacher, and a veteran, he can help unite the country. Gov. Walz knows how to work across party lines and bring in undecided voters. Together, Harris and Walz will win in November and help us build a better future for generations to come.

I enthusiastically supported Kamala Harris in the DNC roll call vote, and I look forward to representing Oregon and supporting this dynamic ticket later this month at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
