This climate crisis is here

Donald Trump and JD Vance pretend that the climate crisis is a hoax, but it's already here.

This summer brought wildfires, smoke, and drought, and now, the fall brings destructive hurricanes and torrential flooding, even in areas hundreds of miles from the coastline. These disasters are increasing in intensity and frequency, devastating families and communities and costing billions to rebuild.

We have two choices: we can invest in clean energy, build resilient infrastructure, and reduce emissions, or we can continue to deal with increasingly dangerous weather conditions. It's clear: we can't afford to ignore the climate crisis.

Trump, Vance, and House Republicans are backing big polluters, gutting clean air and water laws, and letting corporations dodge responsibility for destructive practices. Now is our chance to elect a majority who will pass bold laws in the fight for our planet and our future. I am committed to building off the good work we've done during the past few years and making a lot more progress with a Democratic majority in Congress.

It's not an easy fight, but I'm not backing down.
