Rock bottom
Donald Trump's approval rating recently hit the lowest point of his entire political career.
That number isn't just a headline, it's proof of what I hear from Oregonians every day. People are struggling. They are paying more for gas, groceries, and rent. And they're sick of a costly, needless war that is driving prices up while the president and his allies enrich themselves.
And it isn't just Oregonians. Across the country, people agree: Donald Trump is failing the American people. And that includes a growing number of Republicans who are losing patience with this administration.
But here's what gives me hope: we have a real opportunity to fight back, and it's right around the corner. Ballots will arrive in our mailboxes soon, and Election Day is November 3rd. Oregon voted by mail first, and we know how to make our voices heard.
That means calling neighbors, knocking on doors, and making sure every single person participates in this election. Track your ballot, fill it out as soon as it arrives, and remind friends and neighbors to do the same.
